Cortometraje australiano realizado por Patrick Hughes. Cuenta la historia de un hombre solitario y algo depresivo que halla en la aburrida rutina cotidiana el cambio que necesitaba en su vida gris y monótona. Realizado para el Schweppes Film Festival, su contenido está narrado visualmente y con grean sencillez. Sin apenas diálogos ni demasiadas pretensiones o trascendentalismos, Signs (señales) comunica un punto de vista positivo sobre la vida, quizás algo inocente, decididamente romántico, y con las dosis justas de ternura. It tells the story of a lonely and depressive man who manages to find the change that his life needed. Created for the Schweppes film festival, the story is told with the minimum amount of words and in a simple structure. A bit innocent, very romantic, and with the exact amount of tenderness. Winner in the 2009 Cannes Film festival.
